The Other Zero: Unified Theory of Ontological Zero (UTOZ)

Zero as Actual-Potential Concurrency; 0α as Source-Origin and 0β as Transition-Threshold

Author: Soto, Armando | ORCID: 0009-0003-8095-6861 Series: Unified Informational Dynamics Theory — Foundational Series

Overview

Zero is not nothing. UTOZ argues that the zero-locus functions as continuity-bearing source-threshold and transition-threshold rather than mere absence. 0α names Zero as source-origin — the non-depleting ground from which metric expression becomes available. 0β names Zero as transition-threshold — the crossing through which potential becomes actual, antecedent becomes trace, and actualization opens new prospective possibility.
